Tulus is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 1991 in Oslo. The outfit stands as one of the most distinctive entities within the 1990s Norwegian black metal movement. The band's sonic signature is defined by a unique fusion of raw, cold black metal with groovy, mid-tempo riffing, prominent basslines, rock 'n' roll sensibilities, and occasional classical instrumentation such as cello and piano.
