Thirst is a Polish black metal band from Przasnysz, Masovia, formed in 1991. Part of the early Polish black metal scene, the band is known for its dark atmosphere, pagan themes, and aggressive approach to songwriting. Their lyrical concepts revolve around darkness, space, evil, and paganism. Over the years, Thirst has released several demos, splits, and full-length albums, with The Might of the Pagan Belief (1994), Per Aspera Ad Astra (2004), and Blacklight (2008) among their most notable works. The band remains an active force within the Polish underground metal scene.
