Svet is a Greek black metal solo project formed in 2018 by Athanasios Papangelis. The band's name means "Light" in Greek. Svet's music is mostly atmospheric, with melancholic and depressive melodies. The lyrics are based on the spiritual path of man from darkness to light, to self-knowledge and freedom, and the main idea is the allegory of Plato's cave and ancient Greek philosophy in general.
