Sorcier Des Glaces is a Canadian cold primitive and atmospheric black metal band formed in 1997 in Quebec, Canada by Sébastien Robitaille and Luc Gaulin. Originally founded as a duo, the project initially existed as a side project of their main band Moonlyght. Sorcier Des Glaces is known for its raw sound, bleak atmosphere, melodic guitar work and themes centered around frozen northern landscapes, solitude and mankind's struggle against dark forces. The band's debut album, Snowland, was released as a CDR in 1998, followed by Moonrise in Total Darkness in 1999. Other key releases include The Puressence of Primitive Forests (2011), North (2016), self-titled Sorcier Des Glaces (2018) and Un Monde de Glace et de Sang (2020).
