Prophet was a Finnish gothic metal band from Helsinki, formed in 1997. The band combined the dark atmosphere of gothic metal with melodic guitar work, keyboard-driven arrangements, and an emotional approach to songwriting. Although active under the name Prophet for only a few years, the group earned recognition within the Finnish underground scene. In 2001, the members continued their musical journey under the new name Fragilehollow, retaining much of their signature melancholic sound.
