Order From Chaos is an American black/death metal band from Kansas City, Missouri, formed in 1987 by Pete Helmkamp, Chuck Keller, and Mike Hefner. They are recognized as pioneers of extreme metal in the US, blending raw black metal with aggressive death metal. Their debut album «Stillbirth Machine» (1992) became a landmark in the underground scene, followed by «Dawn Bringer» (1995) and «An Ending in Fire» (1998), which cemented their reputation as radical and uncompromising. After disbanding in 1998, Pete Helmkamp continued with Angelcorpse, while Chuck Keller founded Ares Kingdom.
