Mortalium is a Ukrainian music band from the city of Kharkiv, founded in 2009, which performs music in the gothic metal and doom/death metal genres. The concept of the band's creativity focuses on deep philosophical themes such as death, depression, loneliness, and human suffering. During its existence, the band has released a successful EP titled "On the Broken Wings," as well as two full-length albums — "A Gap Between Birth And Death" and "Obligate Loneliness." The team maintains an active concert schedule, participating in many domestic and international thematic rock festivals. The music of Mortalium is characterized by an atmospheric blend of heavy guitar riffs, melancholic keyboards, and the contrast between clean female vocals and harsh male growling.
