Katharsis is a German black metal band from Zwickau, formed in 1994. Known for their raw and aggressive sound, they combine traditional black metal with chaotic atmosphere and radical aesthetics. Their debut album «666» (2000) established their reputation as an extreme act, followed by «Kruzifixxion» (2003), «VVorldVVithoutEnd» (2006), and «Fourth Reich» (2009), which cemented their cult status in the underground scene.
