Hades is a Norwegian band from Stavanger, founded in 1992. Their main style is black metal, characterized by fast guitar riffs, cold atmosphere, and harsh vocals. Their debut album ...Again Shall Be (1994) became a classic of the Norwegian scene. The follow-up The Dawn of the Dying Sun (1997) reinforced their reputation with epic and melodic elements. Later, the band changed its name to Hades Almighty, releasing Millennium Nocturne (1999) and The Pulse of Decay (2001). Their lyrical themes revolve around mythology, apocalyptic visions, and dark philosophy.
