Burshtyn is a Ukrainian black metal band from Kharkiv, formed in 2015. Named after the Ukrainian word for “amber,” the band combines traditional black metal with themes of Ukrainian mysticism, Cossack heritage, and national history. Known for its atmospheric sound, strong melodies, and distinctive identity, Burshtyn has become one of the notable acts in the modern Ukrainian black metal scene. The band's most significant releases include Prakh Vidchaidukhiv (2016), Bezvirnyk (2017), Chortoryia (2020), and Apocrypha (2023).
