Black Metal: Манускрипты Культа Book
Label: Metal Star
The final volume of the original pentalogy "Black Metal: Cult" by British journalist Dayal Patterson.
The thing is that "Manuscripts..." is a kind of large magazine, existing on the border between a book and a magazine format (in the original, the book is called The Mega Zine, which I really didn't want to translate into Russian as "mega-magazine"). The English-language edition was released in a rather poor paperback, but Metal Star decided to make a hardcover edition, simultaneously changing the design to a more appropriate, albeit slightly pretentious one.
This book is the most "free" branch of the series, dedicated not only to Black Metal, but to bands and people who, in the author's opinion, are the most interesting in the extreme scene. Besides Patterson himself, another author took part in writing this volume - Frank Alleyn (FEN, SKALDIC CURSE, DE ARMA), who conducted two interviews.
- For the first time in Russian;
- Hard cover and excellent printing on excellent paper;
- Lots of rare photographs and previously unknown facts from first-hand;
- Only 666 copies, hand-numbered.
