Black Crucifixion is a Finnish band from Rovaniemi, formed in 1991, recognized as one of the pioneers of Finnish black metal. Their music combines raw early black metal with later experiments in doom and dark metal. Notable releases include The Fallen One of Flames (1992), Promethean Gift (1993), and Faustian Dream (2006).
